Q: Where are you located?
A: We are centrally located in SE Salem at 669 Vista Ave, two blocks east off of Commercial Street on the left hand side.
Q: What hours is Adventures Unlimited open?
A: We are open Monday thru Friday 7:00am to 6:00pm.
Q: If I enroll when may my child start?
A: After the enrollment papers are completed and registration is paid.
Q: When are payments due?
A: Payments are due at the begining of each week or month.
Q: Is there a requirement of full-time enrollment?
A: You may choose to have your child attend full-time, pre-school only, before/after school care, weekly, daily or by the hour.
Q: What is your teacher to child ratio?
A: For Infant/Toddlers under 30 months the ratio is; four children to every one staff. 30 months thru four years the ratio is; 10 children to every one staff. Five years and older the ratio is; 15 children to every one staff. These are the requirements set by the State of Oregon; however the majority of the time we maintain higher staff to child ratios.
Q: What are your pre-school hours?
A: Monday thru Friday 9:00am to 12:00pm.
Q: Are you open on holidays?
A: Adventures Unlimited is closed all major holidays and one staff preparation day (the Friday before public school begins in September).
Q: Do you have drop-in care?
A: Yes we accept drop-in's when space is available.
Q: Do you serve meals?
A: We provide nutritious snacks in the morning and afternoon. Families are responsible for providing lunch by either sending a lunch from home or purchasing a lunch at our center; however sack lunches are requested for summer break due to swim lessons and field trips.
Q: When is nap time?
A: Nap time is 1:00pm to 3:00pm. All pre-schoolers must lay quietly for 30 minutes.
Q: Can my older childern visit their younger siblings in their classrooms?
A: Yes, as long as the class remains in acceptable teacher/child ratio.
Q: May I volunteer for special events and parties?
A: We encourage families to take part in these actvities if they are able to do so.
