FIRST MATES
(4 year olds)

Our 4 year old children are eager to learn as fast as they can and as much as they can. They are enjoying their new found expanding vocabulary, with language being more and more a part of their day.

The 5 foot wide doll house within our Housekeeping Area is a big hit with the First Mates. Our class time is filled with new experiences amongst which we have incorporated cooking "research", the weather, language, and many additional hands on activities for them to continue to understand more of their world.

It is an exciting time for them to be putting all their new skills to work. They are learning very quickly through participation and peer observation. By the end of the school year they will be seasoned preschoolers and will be looking forward to the new phase of their travel through their education experience. The child that completes the First Mates class will be well equipped to participate, focus and enjoy Kindergarten class in the fall.
